With a one-tap setup, AirPods automatically connect and work like magic. They sense when they’re in your ears and pause when you remove them.
To adjust volume, change songs, make calls, or get directions, just say “Hey Siri.” You can wear one or both AirPods and skip or play songs with a double-tap.
AirPods offer 5 hours of listening time and 3 hours of talk time on a single charge. The charging case provides multiple charges, giving over 24 hours of listening time.

Powered by the new Apple H1 chip, AirPods use optical sensors and accelerometers to detect when they’re in your ears. The H1 chip routes the audio and engages the microphone, whether you use one or both AirPods. During calls or when talking to Siri, a speech-detecting accelerometer works with beamforming microphones to focus on your voice and reduce external noise.
